Dr. Mentis is interested in the assessment and treatment of language disorders in children. She is particularly interested in the development and evaluation of treatment approaches for preschool children with language impairments. Her research group is currently looking at the effectiveness of intensive language intervention for treating language disorders in children, as well as the effectiveness of specific intervention approaches.
