Last weekend, the department graduated 31 BA recipients, 3 dual BA/MA recipients, 1 Graduate Certificate recipient, and 8 MA recipients. Congratulations to all, and alumni: stay in touch!

Among the exciting ventures these freshly-minted graduates are moving on to:

  • Alexander Acosta (BA Linguistics) will be a Research Assistant in the Guenther Lab at BU.
  • Adriana Celaya (BA Spanish & Linguistics) will be starting as a Kindergarten Teacher at the Amigos School, a Spanish-English dual-immersion school in Cambridge.
  • Neshat Darvishi (MA Linguistics) will be starting the PhD program in Psychology at the University of Southern California.
  • Lutèce Dekker (BA Linguistics) will be starting law school at the University of Michigan.
  • Kendall Lowe (BA Linguistics) will be starting the PhD program in Linguistics at the University of Michigan.
  • Clara McMahon (MA Linguistics) will be starting the PhD program in Linguistics at the CUNY Graduate Center.
  • Timothy Obiso (BA Linguistics) will be starting the MS program in Computational Linguistics at Brandeis University.
  • Anna Schoff (BA Linguistics) will be starting the MSc program in Speech and Language Processing at the University of Edinburgh.
  • Amelia Tighe (MA Linguistics) will be starting the PhD program in Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

MA recipients Danielle Dionne, Jackson Kellogg, and Kevin Samejon will be continuing the PhD program in Linguistics at BU.
