Congratulations to Ryan Chon (CAS/GRS ’23), Samantha Rigor (CAS ’24), and Anastasiia Tatlubaeva (CAS ’22) on receiving UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program) grants for Fall 2021!
Ryan will be working with Prof. Kate Lindsey on a project entitled “Towards the reconstruction of the consonantal phonemic inventory of Proto-Pahoturi”.
Samantha (Sam) will be working with Prof. Charles Chang on a project entitled “Environments affecting the presence of coda /t/ and /d/ in Asian American speech”.
Anastasiia (Nastiia) will be working with Prof. Elizabeth Coppock on a project entitled “Divisor-marking strategies in the languages of Europe: A corpus-based typology”.
