Welcome to Dr. Myriam Dali! Dr. Dali is joining the department this semester as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She received her PhD in 2020 from the University of Ottawa, with a dissertation entitled “Gender and number in Tunisian Arabic: A case of contextual allosemy”.
Dr. Dali will be teaching two classes for us in the fall, LX 321/621 (Syntax) and LX 432/732 (Intermediate Semantics). She will also be a terrific resource for students doing work in syntax, semantics, and morphology. For more information about Dr. Dali, check out her LinkedIn page.
